Hayward Brook Farm is a small dressage training barn located 25 minutes west of Boston. The owner and barn manager live on-site, amidst 17 acres of fields, a small wood, and a pond that abuts the Weston Wayland Rail Trail which is our access to the miles of Weston trails.
The facility is comprised of a main barn attached to a 70x200 indoor arena, a 100x200 outdoor arena, individual grass paddocks, and stone dust all-weather runs and paddocks. Each 12x12 rubber matted stall has two doors: a dutch door to a stone dust run and a sliding door on the barn aisle. Hacking around the property is on the field and wooded trails Additionally, the Weston Woods can be accessed from the property via the rail trail. There is ample parking for cars and trailers behind the barn.
We commonly hear from first time visitors or other Wayland residents that they never knew we were “here” because the barn and paddocks are located far from road view. We like the quiet privacy this affords us, allowing for a peaceful environment for horses and humans.
